Printer Services identify and can assist with environmental issues within the workplace. We are certified by the Environmental Agency to provide a legal and environmentally friendly collection service so to process end of life equipment for recycling.
Our regular preventative maintenance procedure is effective in prolonging machine life. However the eventual lack of available parts together with a natural requirement to upgrade equipment has created a rapid growth in machine consumption together with a growing disposal problem. Consequently, in 2003 the European Union introduced a directive to control the waste of electrical and electronic equipment, this being known as the WEEE directive. Under this directive and so to comply with UK and EU laws printers and fax machines now have to be disposed of correctly.
